The best thing is to have patience and talk to her in a kind way about Islam. You do not have to listen to her if she wants you to do haram. First thing for you to do with regards to her disobeying Islamic rules, if the Islamic foundation is not there, i.e she does not pray, care about Islam etc, how can you expect other actions to take place?. Nope, This is incorrect.

A Woman Can go out on her own to shops, town etc... she does not need a mahram to leave the house!

The ruling for mahram is for longer journeys such as to another country etc... or travelling through dangerous place.. or at night etc.

At the time of the prophet peace be up on him women use to take care of house and market when muslims were gone for fight, Women use to go to the mosque of the prophet peace be up on him and pray in Jamah. Yes some time its required Mahram but that dosnt mean the woman will be prisoned at the home , she can go out with the permision of her husband.
Now days people stop women from going to Masjied saying that its better for her to pray at home..while the prophet peace be up on him said dont stop women from coming to the mosque...

You know brother turntosilam is not a website who gives FATAWA or take a role of scholars. It will be good brother if you ask scholars about this.

But sincerely, although scholars will give you a full answers about like those questions related to intimate relation between man and woman; how can a husband apply and manage his life in the reality!!?.
I think that relationship between husband and wife, as Islam teachs it, is a life of love and serenity. So consent and agreement between them in all things, under the shadow of Islam, will make life easy.
" And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect."
