In short, yes. Quran is His most inspiring miracle for humankind - via the last Prophet Muhammad (saw). A living miracle!
READ THE BOOK which is supposed to be guidance for each & every human soul.

I think that's not enough saying in this hour of developed world when people can be easily persuaded into Evolution etc. So why not direct them to the actual book, brother Lookingforlight?

Even if there was a Big Bang, someone had to initiate it, correct? Why would everything come to exist out of nothing? The idea of the existence of Allah is simple logic.
And of course- the Quran is the Divine Book of Guidance and it is of course best to understand the purpose of Creation.

I'm a Muslim, Alhamdulillah, and believe and understand the logic behind it all, brother. BUT you see it's not that easy for a non-Muslim to see that.
So, yeah, I agree with you, but when doing Dawah we need to wear the non-Muslim's shoes to understand what they could think of everything around. And then try our best to guide them, Insha'Allah.

Allah is always taking care of affairs of the Universe and within it. see ayah Ar-Rahman (55): ayah 29.
As for apparitions and odd things that people come across in nature, one must be careful. Of course, nothing occurs without Allah allowing it to occur. Some of these odd things tend to have people worship in them though: which is shirk. For example some sufi claim the prophet PBUH came to them and gave them new guidance. This is a false deity then as if this was ever to happen then why did the predecessors that immediately rule after him pbuh, not get guidance this way. They were are rightly guided by Quran and Sunnah.
So bottom line, when encountering something, we say subhanAllah and move on.
The greatest miracle that was given to mankind is the Quran. It is a pleasant light to combine with the pleasant light of the sincere believer. Light upon light.
