Mirajmom's thought of the day

Salaam,

Dear brothers and sisters. I am home with the flu. Yuck!!! I have been reading a little and I did peep into this site. The dunya is still the same. I realized this week that nothing has changed in the news for the past forty years. I had to laugh. The duyna will never change. It is really easy being a reporter you cut and paste. It makes the words: you can not change the condidition of a people until they change themselves; very powerful.
I have read some posts and they were unsetteling. Some people advocated peace; others are fed up and frustrated; some suggested that we pray.
There is nothing new that I can write. But, I can make some suggestions. Let us practice our faith when we write. Let us always use the best of manners. In each post let us make reference to Islam, or Allah subhana talla, or the Prophet. Let us use Insha'Allah at all times. Let us always be in the present tense and use Alhumdullila. At all times when we communicate remember we will be judged.
We need to love each other. We need to be patient with each other. We need to remember we find comfort with eachother. We need to consult the Holy Quran for guidance on our thoughts.
The Holy Reality will assist us. But, we have to want for others that which we want for ourselves to make changes. It starts with our hearts. Insha'Allah these words will make sense to some of my respected brohters and sisters,
your aapa.

Aapa do dua for me and for whole ummah. Because when soemone is ill, angels are near that person and dua of a sick person allah also accept.

A win-win situation!

Salaam,

Many people don't know that sickness is actually a blessing from Allah swt on His faithful servant. It's a test of patience for those who don't complain. It's a period of expiation (for his/her sins) and repose. This could be a test to raise your status and increase your rewards.

“How marvelous is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good, and that does not apply to anyone except the believer. If something good happens to him he gives thanks for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Muslim, #2999)

P.S. You might want to refer to Dr. Osmanelmais :holaaa: - he's been posting medical advices for just about all types of symptons such as this:

Salaam,

It's infeasible to make everyone happy. The world we live in has caused many Muslim frustrated. This is a time of great trial for this ummah. I have sympathy for my sensitive Muslim brothers and sisters. The world isn't changing or shaping that we like it, so we become more & more angry. However, anger and impatience doesn't solve anything.

We should set an agenda for ourselves and plan how we can take ACTION to solve the problems of this ummah. We should start with fixing our own character, helping our families, helping our local communities, and helping our brothers/sisters on a global scale; start donating. This advice goes to myself as well. If we inshallah try to do this, then we will leave the rest to Allah swt.

I think we should embrace ALL of humanity and assist ALL people rather than be solely inclusive of ourselves. How can we show others the good in islam if they only see muslims helping muslims and not caring about the other people in their communities. You know what I mean.......we shouldn't be this little exclusive group.......

ok cool *raises eyebrow*

lets see if we can do this before the palestinian race is obliterated from the face of the earth and is nothing more than a vague memory in the history books.

Get well soon.

Salaam,

The Sunnath taught us to be loving. When we are loving towards each other..we are loving towards everyone. It is simply contagious. However, we must start with each other first. We must recognize Muslims, first. That is our duty. Therefore, when we volunteer, donate money, do good deeds, we do them for remembrance of Allah subhana talla. Our brothers and sisters appreciate why we are doing it. They understand the need for us to be the best of people. Our behaviors will have a positive effect on eveyone else, but they will benefit our ummath most. It is that simple. Many have chosen to reject the truth. Simply put, we have to recognize Muslims first and always.

Asalaamu'Alykum,

Your right sister, we need to apply Islam in all walks of our life and in all situations.

In my opinion, we seem to be lacking on one key aspect and seem to be searching for another:

Knowledge - we keep on hearing it, but its true, how do you expect to solve problems in your life and those around you if you don't have the qualities to tackle them? Exactly, you can't, we seem to very uneducated nowadays on core issues. (Just to clarify, i am not saying at all i am knowledgable its just an observation)

Leadership - am i the only one that seems to think a lot of people need/want/waiting for a leader to arise from the ranks to lead this Ummah? That seems to be the case, i really want to know the opinion of others on this?

Today in the Mosque for Maghrib the Imam prayed for those in Palestine in Dua Qunoot. Alhamdulilah. Ameen to his Du'a.

Walaykum Salam

:salam2: sister mirajmom

lol, alhamdulilah, you still alive and kicking ...

this is not the first post that i see a brother/sister requesting from the rest of the brothers and sisters to act as muslims...

i would suggest, if possible, to have a sentence or two (on the main page of the website) reminding the manners of a muslim...

We do need to to better inshallah. Sometimes we write without thinking, and we forget to remember Allah, we have to be careful. We should give each other sincere nasiha and write what is necessary. We also forget that every word we say and write is being written down, so brothers and sisters, lets be careful and love one another inshallah.

May it be a purification for you inshallah. You will be in my duaas inshallah.:hearts:
