beautiful song...why should we make illegal to us something useful for us?is music haram even after Salat al 'isha, when I prayed all my prayers and wish to relax a bit?it is haram all what it leads to Fitnah, but as I listened to this song,I found it pleasantful and not vulgar.if music was really haram, there would be many things in this Dunya which are forbidden for us:football playing and watching, laughing, playing any sports...life would be boring.Allah created us not only to remember Him,but to enjoy WITH INTELLIGENCE it:astag:

salam alikum wa rahmatu allah tala wa barakatuh

first of all i want to thank the one who share with us this song regardless of where it is good or bad.....Conserning its words it is very good and has an intelligent view..but acoording to the music it is used here it is ubsolutely HARAM and i emphasice on this idea because this person is an egyptian singer called Hamada Hilal...

is the origin of the singer a problem?why he is egyptian it is haram?let me know how do you spend your days...it's right to dedicate a time to uorselve too,or not?I don't want to be so extreme, but if a song has islamic arguments and makes me think to Allah through the music too,why should I not listen to it?me,I liked it,melodies are healthy for the life, instead of the silence all day long.mine,it's just a free opinion,I'm not perfect,by consequence I may have said something against my belief, but I didn't read that listening to all kind of music is haram...some muslim singers tries to give a warning through their songs(I listened to a song titled "The last breath"and it made me cry because it exposed the truth through a singed poem).this thread is interesting and makes me like to discuss about such an argument.:wasalam:

Salaamalaykum sister Hayat,

You bring up good points and reasoning for what you are saying.

However, for something to be made halaal or haraam, it has to come from the Holy Quran and/or from Prophet's traditions (Sunnah). There are many proofs and evidences in both that Singing and music is prohibited except for beating of duff (open sided drum) in festivities like Marriage for women.

This topic of music has been discussed many times on the forum, perhaps you can 'search' through the threads and gain important knowledge.

Also, everything that we perceive to be good(or seek/get pleasure from, or which makes us relaxed) are not necessarily always halaal. Some people seek pleasure in telling false tales to make people laugh and argue 'we are just making people laugh'. While others accumulate interest [usury or riba] and justify that 'we are spending it on poor people'. However, all of this is not permissible even though on face value it seems to bring some good.

Listening to Nasheed is for pleasure and not mandatory. However listening to music is 'haraam' or prohibited. So let's avoid the haraam in our pleasure activities. InshaAllah we can post nasheed with no musical instruments.

PS Many Nasheeds also have 'without music' versions.

Wasalaamalaykum waa rahmatullahi

brotherInIslam7,you told a right thing,it's better to post some nasheeds without the music of instruments.the human voice is a good instrument itself and needs no other accompainment.thank you for your answer
