It was brought to my attention by someone who shared with me a standard will drafted by an attorney in the USA.

As Muslims, we follow what Allah has stated for the divisions of wealth after death. This is one of the greatest value of Sharia being implemented and recognized, since sharia is basically the commands of Allah from the Quran and Sunnah.

so I did a little searching and to my surprise there is a well drafted copy of Will in pdf form, written and posted by ISNA(Islamic Society of North America).

here is the web page where you can read and obtain word format copies and instruction:http://www.isnacanada.com/isna/wila0127.htm

also it can be found in PDF here:

you might disregard the importance of this. I caution you not to, because if there is no will then it is in the hands of that country and if you have no family it goes to the state.

I have seen far to many families have many issues because they think that masjid or relatives will help. they can only if all parties(The people left alive that can access the wealth) agree. Many times people get a non muslim lawyer and take it to court and divide it other than Allah has mentioned for us to.

wa Allah ya'lam
