As-salam alaykum brothers & sisters
Well... here's the situation: I'm a 21 y/o girl, and I live in a non-muslim country with my family.
The problem is that my dad doesn't get rid of the Riba and doesn't give Zakat al-Maal...He does give Zakat al-Fitr though.
And my mom and I...and few others family members gave him few speeches about how haram it is.
But still...he keeps finding excuses.
I know you're gonna tell me to keep give him a speech again & again...but I feel like I'm talking to a wall.
I made him read verses about it from Koran al-Karim, I also read them to him...I told him "Don't you fear Allah swt? He's watching you right now!"
We did that several times already but he keeps arguing with us and then he begins to ignore my advices and my mom's....and then he gets angry and he says "Just leave me alone!"
I don't think I can change him...He's 70 y/o and probably never gave Zakat and got rid of Riba in his entire life.
I don't know what to do...I'm desperate right now.
Any ideas, plz?
