:shymuslima1:As*salaamualaikum! brothers and sisters. I am a new shahada and this is my first time fasting alhumdulilah! I wanted 2 knw what can I do 2 keep myself occupied. I want 2 read the quran but i dont want to read sumthn that i dont understand and get confused. What should I do???

read quran with someone to help

or read other books on islam, learn how to do ur salats, read about profet Muhammed saw. many things to read and learn especially since you are new muslim

first of all, mashallah for ur shahada and first ramadan. may Allah accept our good deeds and forgive our bad ones.

secondly, u can first go for english translation of Quran (by Muhammed Asad or Pickthall), prophet's biography, other islamic books.
