ok I buy things at retailers, that are very much discounted. Sometimes like I buy what they have on the shelf.

most of the time, the employee questions why I buying so much or is curious to what I am going to do with them.

now, I don't like to lie and I don't for fear of Allah.

what are ways of answering them?

I don't want to tell them what I plan to do with them, it would cause them to compete with me in buying up the merchandise.

please this is important.

Then again to be silent may be rude, but you can tell the employees that it is a little personal and you rather not tell them.

in sha Allah I can learn more as they are starting to get really curious. sometimes I must drive to a farther store, just to avoid them.

I find it easiest to say "I am sorry, but I cannot tell you". If they ask why, then insist, "Sorry I cannot tell you.". And if they ask, dont change, repeat the same thing.

If people are that impolite towards you, you don't have to be impolite back. Simply be firm, honest, and say as much as you feel comfortable telling them.

I would say "I want the the owner(s) of this store to get richer so that's why I buy so much"
