Need to find an ayat

Assalaam walaikum,

I made reference to an ayat on a different thread. I need to find it. And my brain is blank.

The ayat as far as I can recall is not in Sura al-Baqarah.

The ayat tells us who to give zakat. The words translate to give to those who beg and those who do not but are in need; additionally, the ayat tells the rich man to seek out the poor man.

If anyone could provide me with this knowledge I would be grateful.

Praise be to Allah!
Wa `alaykum salaam wa rahmatullaah

“As-Sadaqaat (here it means Zakaah) are only for the Fuqaraa’ (poor), and Al‑Masaakeen (the poor) and those employed to collect (the funds); and to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islam); and to free the captives; and for those in debt; and for Allaah’s Cause (i.e. for Mujaahidoon — those fighting in a holy battle), and for the wayfarer (a traveller who is cut off from everything); a duty imposed by Allaah. And Allaah is All-Knower, All-Wise”

[al-Tawbah 9:60]

That ayah?

Assalaam walaikum,

That was not the exact one but trust me brother, it will suffice.

May Allah reward your efforts.
