hi i am new to this site
thought out my life I have came into contact with quite a number of Muslim from various backgrounds. Strangely enough, even to myself, I was drawn to them and developed a curious inclination to learn and understand more about their religion. I observed how content they seemed and was very impressed by their openness and warmth towards myself and each other, but more importantly with their pride in belonging to a religion which holds many negative connotations.
although i have not long acted on my curious of islam the more i looked into it the more my intellect was stimulated and my heart, warmed. I wanted to know everything about Islam
I have 2 children with my x partner who was Muslim he would often tell me to listen to bits of the Qur'an even though I didn't have any idea what they were saying and I still can't understand what is being said, but it still touches my heart and soul but yet i still didn't act on this at the time my x partner wasn't the best Muslim we have a lot of issues still.
I no islam is the right way but yet to convert inshallah soon i will get the strength to do so, Where i live information n help to people wanting to convert is no freely available at the moment i feel in a state of limbo
most muslims here are not welling to help or not interested also my family are all non Muslims
The internet is the best form of help n guidance i have found so far on my journey in learning about islam and the Quran
Any help or advice welcome would also be nice to chat to new Muslim sisters or who could advise
