I think all unbelievers should go to Hell, correct me if I'm wrong

What about pious people such as Mother Teresa from Calcutta ?

What about Mahatma Gandhi a peaceful man ?

Pious, reverent and peaceful NON-MUSLIMS persons

Do they go to hell ?

Muslims can not be judges instead of God. Only God decides who goes to hell and who does not. But Allah has put forth rules, one of them is:

Whosoever goeth right, it is only for (the good of) his own soul that he goeth right, and whosoever erreth, erreth only to its hurt. No laden soul can bear another's load, We never punish until we have sent a messenger. (111:15)

Another rule is:

Lo! Allah forgiveth not that a partner should be ascribed unto Him. He forgiveth (all) save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners to Allah, he hath indeed invented a tremendous sin. (4:48)




Put these rules together and see what u get. I honestly mean no offense, but does not the bible teach the same?

I don't know the bible

Reading the 2 verses :

Allah sent His messenger - Mohammad -, therefore He doesn't forgive anyone who denies the messenger and who practices idolatry ( 111:15 )

Since Mahatma Gandhi's religion was Hinduism He is supposedly in Hell, as Mother Teresa because She was worshiping a man

The verses I quoted do not mention Muhammad pbuh, ur paraphrasing is incorrect. It applies to all prophets which we Muslims believe in them all (Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Adam, David, Joseph, Jacob, peace be upon them etc). Plus, the verse also is general and means anyone who did not receive the true message of the aforementioned prophets will not be punished. Some scholars (i lack reference on this) went on saying that God will send them messengers on the day of judgement.

Hello,

Each and every person have to worry about him self, Delta we will A L L O W to start a debate on who is going to paradise or who is going to hell. Allah (God) the only one who can judge. No one knows what they had in their heart at the time of death came on them.

Allah knows better, we have to worry about our self we still a live. The question should be are we doing and following what Allah told us ! ?

Well, I know something of the bible, of course, everybody knows the bible or some part of it, but maybe I know less than you - don't know

And yes, I'm from a Christian country, but this means nothing

If it will be send messengers in that judgment day, I believe they will be resting in Hell until that day

We Muslims believe that anyone who has received the message of Islam in a clear and undistorted way and then dies as a non Muslim will enter Hell and abide therein forever.

Who said so. Only God decides. But if God decided not to punish somebody on the day of judgement, why should he punnish him before that! We do not think of God as unjust. This is unfounded. I recommend u to see the links provided by brother Bluegazer, I believe they are thorough.

I understood, if someone dies rejecting deliberately Allah's messenger we go to Hell, but Allah knows better

Christianity, as Bluegazer said, says the same about rejecting Jesus and being baptized, didn't knew that way

Ultimately we can argue that Bible and Koran are opposites, 2 main messengers. And we don't have nothing in Quran or Hadiths telling which verses we can take from the bible

Is there a guide that can help me reading the bible ? which verses I can reject ?

Brother to reject a verse of bible and to read the verse of bible as the word of god is really a tough topics for you and me.

So you have a new testament which you have to followed.(and that is holy quran)

and allah knows the best.

Salam,
Unfortunately I don't know. The brothers and sister may know some references. But we as Muslims are supposed not to disbelieve nor to right away believe what is in the bible. For Muslims, some of it is certainly from God, but some of it is added by humans, unfortunately we don't know which is which.

Why do u assume the Quran and Bible to be opposites? They don't match yes but I don't get what u mean by "opposite".
