number of instances of words in the Quran

First of all, this is highly criticized and it was a work done by Tariq Swaidan.

I remember seeing someone post them, and I didn't have software to check.

Kashmiri was looking for this.

anyways my first search is for prayers in plural form only, there is only 5 instances in the Quran. If you search singular form you will get many, but if you search plural you will get only 5.

Here are the ayat for (prayers mentioned 5 times) :

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ ﴿المؤمنون: ٩﴾

حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَىٰ وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ ﴿البقرة: ٢٣٨﴾

(3)
أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ ﴿البقرة: ١٥٧﴾

وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ أَلَا إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَهُمْ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿التوبة: ٩٩﴾

الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ ﴿الحج: ٤٠

There are more when I get them I will post, the list is very long and it takes time for each one.

I'm not a big fan of the 'miracles' of numbers in the Quran, although they could prove useful in some situations which I don't know. Allahu Aalam.

But one thing, there are no coincidences in the Quran, my brother. It's the word of the All-knowing: Allah

So I suggest the title of the thread to be modified into something more appropriate.
