Oh Mountain of Uhud what can you say?
On the day when Hamza (ra) was taken away!
Oh Mountain of Uhud what did you see?
When the lion of Allah fought bravely!
Oh Mountain of Uhud you were there
At the time when Wahshi did not care!
Oh Mountain of Uhud did you tear?
When Wahshi pierced him with a spear!
Oh Mountain of Uhud did you hear the sound?
When Hamza (ra) fell to the ground!
Oh Mountain of Uhud did you quiver?
When the wife of Abu Sufyaan chewed His liver!
Oh Mountain of Uhud did you perceive?
When the Prophet Muhammed began to grieve!
Oh Mountain of Uhud were you relieved ?
On the beautiful day when Wahshi believed!
Oh Mountain of Uhud You still stand tall,
At the place where Muhammed (s.a.w) fought for us all!
