Ooops! Eating Mermaids???

I was reading this particular one on Islam-qa.

It made me laugh too. So whats your opinion on the existence of mermaids. I do not believe that they do.

Its interesting as the question is : Is there any such thing as a mermaid?

and the answer is about eating them.

- No, they are mythical creatures, and it is not really in our benefit to waste time on such frivolous subject matters.

I guess, we can expect a deluge of posts with several hundred smileys and .. the usual.

This reminds me of a similiar question sometime back to a Brother.

"If someone is on the moon, which direction should he face in Salaah?"
The Brother, replied, "Let me know when you have decided to go on the Moon"

Nooo!! Hahah I love how the question is about whether mermaids exist and the answer is about the 'halalness' of eating them.
