Oral traditions

Salaam,

Insha'Allah this finds each and every one of you in excellent iman and health.

Some cultres, loving by nature , passive and hardworking, tolerant of all others, those who wish peace upon, often celebrate thier cultures via song. This is not a post about the haram of music..this is a post for the purpose of learning and gleaning compassion and understanding thereby enhancing the unity of mankind.
Cultures who have been and are currently oppressed do not fall into despair. They do not yield to the forces of oppression..they keep hope alive.
Going back to songs..they keep hope alive and mostly importantly keep the truth alive.. Oral histories are transmitting to the future generations that we may never foget the truths. Little truths add up the The Truth.
I ask my sweet brothers and sister to reflect uoon the plight of all humans and how eloquently they keep the faith and teach us to become stronger, raise our inam, humble our egos and lower our gaze.
I can not help but think of our brothers who are detained. Our esteemed and respected brohter Dr. Sami Al-Arian has shared with me that to his knowledge he will be deported on the 7th of April, unless more charges are brought upon him..he has written that he leaves his fate in the hands of Allah subhana talla..
As you read this please make dua for this brilliant Muslim and his family..as well as all oppressed peoples..

This is my song to you.

How are we so blinded?? Our brothers and sisters are suffering at the hands of evil!! what are we doing about it? We cannot turn a deaf ear to this problem. With the diversity of this forum, we just can't do a thing, or something simple as guessing the meanings of words to donate rice to needy people, a simple sadaqa, subhanallah!! I will keep this brother in my duaas dear sister and may Allah make it easy on him, Ameen!:tti_sister:
