IF YOU know of any latino brothers who can travel for six weeks end of Oct- Dec to study for imam and make Hajj. PLEASE contact me today or ASAP. Al Hamdulilah ,We have already contacted Kuwait and inshallah one of our reffered brothers in entering the program. We need more. I remember meeting a sister in Miami with a good contact that she was hopeing to bring to the states. Having Spanish Speaking imams will assist greatly in the spread of islam in the USA. The program has already recruited African American brothers and is focusing on the impact of the Latino Movement in Islam.
ONe of our major mission statements has always been the development of Spanish speaking imams and leaders for the Muslim community at large.

IMAMS TRAINING PROGRAM
The Government of the United Arab Emirates , UAE is
sponsoring a first
of its kind unique training program for American Imams
and those
aspiring to become Imams.
Program participant will receive a certificate from
the UAE Ministry of
Awqaf & Islamic Affairs.
The courses will consist of a six-week program.
Program curriculum will
focus on the following:
1 Moderation in Islam
2 Fiqh for Muslim Minorities
3 Islamic Family Law
4 Principles of Islamic Banking and Finance
Selected individuals will be guest of the UAE
government. All expenses
associated with the program will be paid for including
Hajj. A modest
stipend will be provided.
Program Dates:
* Arrival in the Dubai on Oct 30th
* Classes commence on Nov 1
* Closing Ceremony- Dec 14th
* Depart for Hajj -Dec 12-25
