Is it a sin to use prayer beads to help you in your prayers?

Is it a sin to use prayer beads to help you in your prayers?

i haven't heard of it being a sin before. i do know that the sunnah is to count tasbih with your right hand. i have read several fatwas either on e-fatwa or islamweb ( i have forgotten which ) that said that using the beads are okay if one finds difficulty in counting tasbih by hand.
