Hello,
I live in US and I am traveling back to my country next month and I don't
want to miss any prayer on the way. Do any of you have any experience
with praying at any USA airports? Do you have any suggestions? Could I just pray anywhere in the building?

Thanks

Note: I don't live in America, I personally havent met any Muslim who have had a problem praying at U.S. airport, nor am I saying this sort of a thing happens to every Muslim who prays at a U.S. airport. Its just a story I read some time back and your post brought that to my mind, so I thought of sharing it with you. I am not trying to convey any point across with this post, just to share experience of 6 Muslims at a U.S. airport. I am pretty sure many Muslims have prayed at U.S. airports in the past and will continue to do so. And Allah swt knows best.

Note: This story of flying Imam should not be confused with Dr. Sahib Mustaqim Bleher blog flyingimam;

salams,
I just recently went for ummrah with my madrassah and we prayed at the airports and you shouldn't have any problems at all inshallah,and some airports have chapels so you can pray there for example the Toronto airport has a chapel and there's a room for muslims to pray in, and if you ask the people at the desk politely they'll tell which direction north,east etc. is, so you can pray in the right direction.Its really no problem at all.

Assalamu alikom.

I have often prayed in US airports. I find the best place is the chapel (or sometimes it's called the "meditation room"), which is usually empty. You can also usually find a quiet out-of-the way place in a corner or at the end of a hall. I have never been bothered when praying in public like this. :hijabi:
