Salam everyone!

I am wondering, do any of you have good resources for finding information about prayers?

I have searched on youtube, yep they teach you how to prayer but don't give much detail such as what rakats are? I don't fully understand the rakat bit.

I purchased a dvd too but wasnt much help they seem to be extrenely fast.

Im a new muslim and want to pray.. good thing so far is that i have memorized sura fatiha off by heart :)

If anyone has any good links for new muslims plz share :)

Please read the book that is in third link. It describes about the rakat. If you have specific queries, you may ask them as well.
