Do you have any idea of how many products are made or give money to Israel? After seeing a list i find it impossible to boycott it all, at least in America..
Also, if you are serious about boycotting Israel, to buy the products in turn supports Israel.
You've bought it, you supported Israel in some minuscule way. I dont know what to tell you. I would just consume it since boycotting is probably not going to do anything significant unless you get a huge group to dedicate themselves to it. And I mean BIG..like..an entire country big.
Wa'alaikumussalam sis. I am boycotting products of Israel by not buying them.

My family are the ones having a hard time with not buying them. Yes, I agree it's really hard to boycott certain stuff in America. I would suggest avoiding the best you can and find alternative stuff instead.

I take alternative stuff which is just as good and doesn't support Israel, so I'm not depraving myself that way.
assalaamu alaykkum respected sister, dont want to go off tangent, but just wanted to mention this...
when someone from denmark drew that Cartoon and muslims in middle east starting boycotting danish products, it had its effects on the companies (or thats what i heard)..
if every individual does his/her part, we can insha Allah have an impact on israeli products. after all there are 1.6 billion of us on the face of this earth

I agree! I heard somewhere that while it is difficult to cause an economic downfall, it is possible to create an 'economic scare' seeing that there is such a vast amount of Muslims, Alhamdulillah. And the numbers are growing! If we all pitch in, the effect would be great. I read in this article (
http://www.suhaibwebb.com/relationships/withthedivine/all-you-need-to-do-is-ask/) by sister Jinan Bastaki:
"Allah also may delay the answer to make us work harder so we are prepared for it. If we look at Palestine, we may think, “Wow, the Muslim Ummah prays so much and we don’t see anything changing.” But in truth, although the majority of the Ummah prays intensely during Ramadan, many do not make du`a’ with true pleading. It is almost an afterthought. And if we do (such as when we see the carnage that happened in Gaza) we do not follow up our words by utilizing the means to change the situation; we forget (as is happening now). There are some genuine people who work for change, but they are a minority. So we need to be patient because we need to know that Allah is training the Ummah. The answer is being delayed so that we become worthy of this task."
I love her articles so much, they inspire me greatly!

Alhamdulillah. She's shed a different light on a lot of previously-thought perspectives. Anyway, back to the topic.
wa alaykum salam,
I think it is important to actually boycott those things that are 100% verifiably made in "Israel" or actually owned by those who promote "Israel" and the illegal occupation there.
There are a lot of lists of products and companies that are supposedly supporting Israel, and often there is not a shred of evidence to support the allegations.
Personally, I do not boycott many products at all. ( I do not eat junk food, nor processed food, I cook and eat naturally) If I know something is grown in an Israeli farm, or made in Israel, then I would boycott it. Mostly that will be Fruit, vegetables and maybe clothing. --- Although, quite often what Israel does, is ship their produce from the farms to nearby cyprus, where they are packaged, and the produce is packed straight away and labelled from Cyprus, or mixed with local produce and then labelled as being from Cyprus.
Maybe that is true as well.

But I don't just boycott without proof, though. There are some legal sources and certain sources which are sponsored in the public eye; by trusted associations on the products to be boycotted. They've actually listed down the pathways, the funds (how did they do that!), how the products are directly or indirectly supporting Israel, and what companies were affiliated as well. Sometimes the companies that "accidentally" fund Israel aren't that bad or bad, at that. For example they sponsor for simple things like the Jewish cadets and so on, and that indirectly, sometimes, goes into the fundings of greater trouble. :O Perhaps they didn't see that coming.
