I'd like to inquire. What is the meaning of Saidina or Saidatina for ladies? Like when we address the Prophet's companions, Saidina Ali r.a. etc. Is it like a way we address someone of that status?

A friend of mine said that we should address our Prophet s.a.w. with the Saidina in front. Cos he said it is a way of giving respect. Is it right?

Brother I think it is some way of saying good man/woman.

In UAE i used to see "Saidaat" written on toliet/restroom for Women...

but should we put the saidina in front for the Prophet's name? as a sign of respect or smth?
