Pure are for those who are pure ??

Assalam alakum

You probably heard this ayah;

Pure men are for those pure women... I think its Sorah Noor verse 26.

So as i understood, if we want someone pure, then we should also try to be one, right ?

Like lets say, if we want a girl who doesnt talk to boys and so on, then we should also not talk to girls ?

But do you think is there any difference ?

Like, lets say, a girl needs help from a boy, whether for dawah or another reason. Then should he not talk to her either because he wouldnt like his future wife not to talk to boys ?

Males and females can talk to each other out of necessity, in the company of others, and with lowering of gaze and the proper Islamic conduct. For example if one needs help from the other which nobody else can provide. But talking too much unnecessarily, joking etc, isn't correct.

If a girl has asked you for help, you may direct her to a female who has the answer... otherwise, if you are the only one who has the answer, you can briefly help her out... however making sure the both of you follow proper Islamic guidelines.
