I have a question about Nafl (supererogatory) prayer. I know you can pray as much as you like and it is recommended as well in Islam but can you pray nafl for something specific you want to ask from Allah in addition to the dua. I am not sure about the authenticity of this prayer so i thought i should ask the question here and see if anyone knows anything from sahee hadith or Quran itself. I couldn't find anything on ISLAMQA website.
I don't believe in what this sheikh or that sheikh said, so plz, if possible, quote the hadith or point me in the right direction if possible.
