Question about Fasting

My question is quite simple.......Are we allowed to cleanse or brush our mouths during fasting?

Salam alaykum, To be honest I am not 100% sure about this answer, but I believe you may as long as you don't take any water while doing this. But to be safe why not brush at fajr and then brush again after Iftar. Then again someone can correct me if I am wrong.

salaam aleykom, i researched this subject and one can brush teeth even use toothpaste and water but be careful in trying not to swallow anything, inshaAllah.

:salam2: Its allowed, but makruh, and you should be careful about water or toothpaste going down from throat, as it will invalid your fast.

But using miswak is sunnah.

we can brush our teeth and also use toothpaste. but have to be careful that water or toothpaste do not go down the throat.
