question about prayers

Salam aleikum,

Problem in performing prayers at time, if one cant make duhr and asr prayer at time because of work and it is imposible to do it, how should do best ? recover them after ? for example at maghrib time ? do voluntary prayers for them ? or is it posible in some way do perform them in office ? but without proper wudu i dont think so...the fear of Allah is there, also big pain in heart because of this, please advice , thank you :tti_sister:

Sister try to be with wudu when you leave home, and try to keep it till the time of two prayers. When time comes you simply wash hands and perform the prayer. Let know your employer that you have to do your prayer, and pray to Allah that it will become easy. We let ourselves being intimidated more than we should from the non-muslims. If you let employer know, things will change. In my experience this is the best approach, and is so convenient. The atmosphere is made intentionally intimidating, but each muslim that has approached the employer in regards to the prayer has found acceptance and accomodation, only the ones that do not try, remain in the state of between two fires. Talk to employer and you are in the state of peace with employer and your Lord. This truly from my own experience. Allah Tawfeeq.

:salam2: is good advice, i was thinking about this, but it does not work, one because the boss is not a muslim lover, to say the least, and second because maybe in a big company can work, but where i work we are about 10 people, and is allready much backbitting and anyone that does something out of the ordinary is in the centre of attention, and will finally get me to not come to work, but i pay rent....i wish i know if voluntary prayers are good in such cases or the recovers after the proper time, thank you :salam2:

Sister can't you just take 5 minutes break? and then work 5 minutes extra to make that up? I think your boss will allow it. If not then i would recommend you to look for another job. Because our prayers are very important and we cannot combine prayers. so ask your boss inshallah and if he disagrees then find another job. Inshallah Allah will make things easy for you.
