asalaamu alaykum everyone,
my sister always tells me to read quran for our dead father, so my question is is't ok to read quran for the dead people.and if it's ok where does the prophet say you can do it,
that is what i am looking for, did the prophet (SAW) or allah(SW)allowed or forbid it, if someone can show me any quran or hadith that concerns this matter i will be thankfull.
