aslaamu alykum, in my home some people believe that you can touch the quran if you don't have wudu , and some people believe that you can touch it. so my question is can i touch the quran if i don't have wudu?

No, because it's as if we're worshipping him.

And also, you don't have to have wudu to touch the Qur'an, though it is preferable. HOWEVER, this is based on the rule of necessity. So if you do wudu and then have to go to the bathroom 10 minutes later, I don't think you have to do wudu again...
