Qur'an Science

Forgive me if there is a similar topic like this, but it is really interesting nontheless. If so, just link me the thread.

It was only until recently that I discovered that the Qur'an has many scientific miracles that weren't discovered until centuries later. I've look up several verses and sure enough I was incredibly amazed. It just strengthened my faith even more.

In surat alwaqia (56) ayah 75 and 76.

Allah swears by something, this is called an oath. Now in Arabic there are quite a few ways Allah makes oaths, like surat at tin or al-fajr. There are many.

But in this ayah, there is an addition لا and it is understood to be an oath.

here is translation of 56:75 -

[Hilali-Khan] So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse).

The next ayah 56:76 -

[Hilali-Khan] And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know.

When we look at this oath and compare it to what we know in science today, it is amazing.

The stars that we see in the night, there position at the present time are not where we see them. Since they are a great distance from where we are, the position of the light is from a long time ago, thus where they are exactly at that time is different where we see the light in the sky.

So the additional لا in this oath, may indicate a negation of there position to where we see them on earth. I am not 100 educated in Arabic of the Quran, and all the types of oaths, but I heard a scholar mention that.

Now if we continue to the next ayat after 76, up to 82. You see the preciousness of what we have in our hands today, The Quran.

If it takes light millions of years to reach us, Allah assures us that the Quran was handled with the best of care and brought down to us. Not 1 second before or after, as we know, the prophet, PBUH, used to receive revelation at certain times, that were responsive to current events or guidance questions. SubhanAllah. This is how great Allah in His mercy, guided humans from darkness to light, He says be and it will be. May Allah guide us all to the straight path.

please do forgive me if I am in error, but this is really hard for me to explain what I heard in Arabic a while ago and summarize it in English translation.

wa Allah ya'lam

:wasalam:
