Assalamu Alaikum
A friend has asked me to find some information regarding this...
Basically a person bought two goats to offer qurbani with. One goat died before qurbani could be offered, later on the person found out that it may of had some disease that caused it's death. What should he do now? He is under the impression that he needs to buy another goat and offer qurbani with that one as he's saying it's wajib, but he's not sure and just wants to check.
Please provide some evidence with any answers you give.
