Ramadhan is coming How can we prepare?

This is a reminder for me and everybody else, question:

Ramadhan, in sha Allah, will be less than 4 months from now, How can we prepare?

Assalamualaykum wa rahmatullaah,

Wow this thought occurred to me the other day too..

Ramadhan all over again, subhanAllaah I wish I could spend a small part of it in a muslim country like last year, or just a better muslim environment.

Iblees chained after attempting to cause havoc for a year ..what a relief, its such a mercy to have him chained subhanAllaah.

It will be such a blessing to see another Ramadhan, may we all live to see it Ameen!

thanks sister for reminding. subhanallah, it's a great mercy of Allah swt to us that we are having another ramadan in our life. i had a dream last ramadan that i won't work next ramadan for praying to Allah properly. but it seems difficult now. as it's almost in 4 months. but inshaallah, at least i will do the saum for ramadan period, will try to do at least one 'khatmul quran', will try to nafal ebadah as much as we can. but i am never satisfied . the days of ramadan runs so fast, we couldn't understand how it passes away. subhanallah, it's the most blessed time of one's life. May Allah give us tawfiq so we can all do best use of our time in ramadan.ameen

anybody know how the companions ra, used to prepare, I heard they used to many months before ramadhan.

I am currently, alhamdulillah, reading, understanding, and memorizing Quran, also trying to increase in prayers.

I just wanted to know which way they used to prepare, more in the lines of what to focus on.

I kinda feel I am not doing enough
