First of all woke and prayed fajr.
v He then sat and had an open discussion with the sahabah (answered questions, collected taxes, interpreted dreams and war booty.)
v After sunrise prayed 4-8 ra’akah nafl.
v Entered home at a fixed time and read dua after giving salaam.
v Upon entering home dua: All praise due to Allah who fulfilled all needs and provided refuge for me. All praise to Allah who gave me food and drink. All praise to Allah who has shown kindness to me. I pray to you to save me from hell.
v Treated whole family with respect.
v Participated in domestic duties.
v Rested
v Prayed zuhr.
v Went to bazaar(market) to observe and check products.
v Rest (quilalah)
v Asr prayed.
v Ask wives if they needed anything etc.
v Maghrib and 3 ra’akah nafl.
v Returned to wife/s and tutored her or got information from her.(people who had asked his wife to ask him a question)
v Isha prayer.
v Perform wudu after prayer
v Talk to family about personal/religious/social matters.
v Go to bed soon afterwards.
v Sleeping dua: allahuma bismika amootu wahya.(o Allah by your name I die and live)
v Halfway during the night woke to use miswak, do wudu and perform tahajjud.
v If tired slept till fajr.
v Snored lightly in deep sleep.
v Often had swollen feet after praying.
v He prayed out of gratefulness.
