RAVING FANTASIES

I'd like to reach a place​

where nobody can see me.​

I could go out to the space,​

there maybe I could be free.​

Then I could reflect a bit,while the stars enlight the Milky Way,​

wherever I turn my eyes there would be only stars,​

from Mercury to Mars​

among them I would stay......​

What am I saying?Am I being delirious?​

These are just raving fantasies​

of one who has nothing to do,but trying to be pious.​

I wish not to be here,just to feel closed to You.All my praises​

are just for You,the One Who can give the Life ​

after You gave the Death.​

I hope to be beneath​

Your Throne the Day You'll call me.​

I carry this burden with the pride of the lion,​

but You know what's in my heart,a lion or a butterfly.​

I wish one day You'll show me all the beutiness​

of Your creation, ​

I hope You'll give me the salvation​

from this confusion​

and purify my heart from all the poison of this Dunya.​
