Reminders in Rings**
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali:
"He ('Umar ibn Al Khattaab) had a ring in which it was inscribed:
... 'Death is enough as a reminder’
"It said in 'Ali's ring: "Allah is the obvious and true King."
"In Khalid bin Al-Waleed's ring it said: "Khalid, you shall die!"
"In Uways al-Qarnee's ring it said: "Beware of Allah."
"In Maalik bin Anas ring it said: "We do not need another helper than Allah. He is an excellent protector."
"In ash-Shafi’ee's ring it said: "Allah should be relied upon - Muhammad bin Idrees."
