returning to the deen

i'm returning to the deen and i need help because the man that i was marrying didn't teach me and now i'm talking to a muslim man who says i must come back please help me

Second...pray for the Love of Allah and not the love of a man. Pray to Allah with all your heart.

Is it just me or is "coming to the deen" for a new man the wrong reason? Does anyone care about that?

I mean, of course alhamdulilah learn this beautiful deen...but if you dont do it for yourself you may end up hating it and yourself later on.

I can speak for the futility of picking religion to meet someone. I did the same many years ago before Islam. I went to Christian churches for years hoping to meet women, but of course it never happened because I was there for the wrong reasons. I ended up lonely, angry, and unhappy because of it.
