rules on praying in jaamat ?

asalamualikum brothers and sisters ! im just abit confused on praying in jamaat in the masjid for brothers, when the imam is leading the prayer do we read surah al fatiha or not ? as someone people say u should read it and some say u shouldnt ? please clerify ! jazakaallah.

It depends on which school of thought in Islam you follow. Hanafi school say you need not to but Shafee school say you must read fatiha otherwise you salat invalidated. I'm no sure about other schools.
