My friend asked me this question and I don't know what to tell her, since I'm not knowledgable.
Basically, whilst her husband was backhome, she trusted him and sent him money (more than £200) to sacrifice a cow to feed the poor. However, her husband took the money and kept it for himself and then lied over the phone saying that he did as she wished. Now the wife found out when she asked some of his family members and they said that they saw no such thing and when she confronted her husband, he denied it all. So my friend's question is, although an animal may of not been sacrificed, would she get the reward of sacrificing an animal and feeding the poor or would she have to do it all again?
