i want to learn about SADAQAH that is charity .though i have basic knowledge,alhamdulillah.
is it compulsory that the person who is earning only should give sadaqah from his side ? or is it ok if any relative gives sadaqah on his belalf ?
if my husband stays in a distant country 4 earning purpose ,can i give sadaqah on his behalf.
or if a son stays in a distant country,can his father give sadaqah here from the sons earnings ?

I'm not sure regarding that matter, But i know that the reward of Allah to those who give Sadaqa or even those who keep doing good to others can exceed to those who he/she cares about the most..

For example, If i gave Sadaqa Allah may reward me by blessing me with a good child that may grow up to be a great leader or scholar or something like that..

If you know people who are not good practising muslims, can you donate money on there behalf? On the day of jugment will these people know that some of there good deeds have come from someone else donating money for them?

Yes, it is permissible for you to give sadaqah on behalf of your Muslim brother even if he commits some sins. We ask Allaah to reward you for doing that.

There is no doubt that they will know on the Day of Resurrection that you have given in charity on their behalf.
