Salam if you don't mind me asking I want to know since the Prophet Muhammad was illiterate and or unlettered unable to read or write my question is how does this make the Quran a literary miracle ?

Well you pretty much answered your own question. Many disbelievers believe that the Prophet wrote the Quran. However, due to the fact that he was illiterate, this is then rendered impossible. The Quran is a literary masterpiece with extremely complex classical Arabic that even the poets of Arabian society couldn't rival it or produce a similar work. Additionally, the Quran speaks of miracles unknown at that time, such as the embryonic stages prior to birth and planetary orbits.

Not exactly something an illiterate human being could produce. Would you agree?

walaikum salam wa rahmatuAllahi wa bakaratuhu,

brother, every nation was sent Prophets (peace be upon them all ) according to their time, and the miracles were accordingly like healing power of Eesa (as), splitting of sea, stick turning into serpent. The people during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) although most of them were literate they still had eloquence in their language and held great pride in it. That's why you see they excelled in poetry etc, so their the language (spoken) they were experts in it, they had many words for things they prided in, as you will see in arabic single objects have many many words for it. When Quran was revealed, the eloquence of quran was so high, so beautiful, so shocking they knew right away these weren't the word of an ordinary person. So you will see that the leaders of the Quraysh were so afraid of how powerful the message is that they had to hatch a plot, a scheme to convince people its magic cause people used to get mesmerized by the quran and Allah (swt) talks about that

And the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, 'This is nothing but evident magic!' (34:43). So they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves! And the Unbelievers say, 'This is a sorcerer telling lies!' (38:4).

so you can imagine how beautiful, and how touching it was for the people of that time that the non believer were trying to convince that its magic. Which made it a literally miracle, cuz it was nothing that the people could come up by themselves, and even for us unfortunately we don't understand arabic (alot of us) if you actually study the quran, the people who study it, they are amazed at its linguistic miracles. Its impossible for a human being to come up with something like this SubhanAllah

and Look Allah (swt) testifies it for the quran and our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle; it is not the word of a poet: little it is y believe! Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. (69:40-43)

We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear. (36:-69).

And say: "What! Shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" Nay! He has come with the (very) Truth, and the confirms (the Message of) the apostles (before him). (37:36-37)
