Salam brothers and sisters,

I am a 21 year old new muslim from germany.

Bofore Islam, I used to be an Atheist( since that was somewhat fashion). From my point of view, religion had
no room in a "modern society". I tried to convience my friends and family members to leave their religion by showing them that their religion is repulsive
and backward .... So I began with the bible. Its was easy with the bible for example : women in the bible , the origin of the bible, that St. Paul was the originator of "christanity", Slavery, Racism, and as a true Christian u must kill people for working on sundays.

My next " mission " was to do the same thing with islam. Prooving that this religion had no room in our society.
After reading the quran, I understood that I was born muslim.

You're story is very interesting. I've never understood the case with atheists. I know some people in my class who will say that "God" doesn't exist, wal iyaadhubillah, i.e. that they are atheists. Even the lectureres will today atest to being atheist, and say this openly in front of a class, e.g. "God must have had a good day when he created us like this or this, although I'm sure there is no higher being". AstghfuraAllah. And the reaction from the class; SubhanAllah I always get shocked. They laugh and think it is funny and seem to agree. One day I heard a girl say that her young nephew asked her where God was. When asked what she had replied she said she let him down gently, meaning she explained to him that there was no God. This is corupt and I felt saddened that this boy's fitra was leading him to question about God but due to his family he was being robbed of his pure state.
With atheists I always wonder if they have come to that conclusion by careful observation and study or because society dictates this to them.

MashaAllah Allah subhana wa ta'ala truly blessed you with Islam and I hope that we'll get to hear more about your story.

I feel its easier for an Atheist to become a Muslim. Just look. They already believe in " LA ILAHA " meaning THERE IS NO GOD, now you should just make efforts and provide him with knowledge , wisdom and ofcourse Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala guides him so that he adds the later part .. " ILLALLAH "meaning BUT ALLAH (THE ONE TRUE CREATOR).
