Netanyahu: Palestinians must recognize 'Jewish state'

Bethlehem - Ma'an/Agencies - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US envoy George Mitchell on Thursday that Palestinians must first recognize Israel as a "Jewish state" as a precondition for peace talks.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz quoted a senior official in Netanyahu's office as saying that "Israel expects the Palestinians to first recognize Israel as a Jewish state before talking about two states for two peoples."

A similar demand by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert had caused major disagreements during the US-sponsored Annapolis peace conference under the term of President George W Bush, where Palestinian officials refused to recognize Israel as exclusively Jewish since over one fifth of its citizens are either Muslim or Christian.

Of my mind, the first precondition should to be that zionists will recognize they unhuman crimes against Palestinians, accept to send war criminals to the international court, start to follow international laws and most of all, recognize the rights of the Palestinians. Now they can, after non-sense demands of they "preconditions" tell to rest of the world as "we are ready to peace but we haven´t anyone to talk about it - just only hostile extremists whose are anti-semitic and want to destroy us"...

After last war against civilians of Gaza, over 1400 murders and over 5000 wounded people there... who really are the most danger extremists?

The question is what is the "State of Israel" that Palestinians should recognize ???
The boundaries that were there in 1940 or 2005 or 2009 or yesterday or today...

It boundaries are changing even as type, as it steals more land and bulldozes homes of innocent people.

this is very bad, what they are asking is not available to the Muslims. i, and a lot of Muslims will not recognize israel, ya Rabb, how can they ask us to recognize them? how? they took Muslim land by forced, they tortured and killed, for every evil they do, they try to justify it and point the finger to Hamas.. the first precondition should to be that zionists will recognize they unhuman crimes against Palestinians, accept to send war criminals to the international court, start to follow international laws and most of all, recognize the rights of the Palestinians. and that its impossible for them to do right? because they are too proud, they hate Muslims and they think eveyone is their slave. how to make a deal with such people who are full of tricks and lies? who are devils themselves? in short how can Muslims make a deal with devils?
