:salam2:

Hope all my brothers and sisters are doing good with strong Iman and good health with their families :)

I am searching the reference for the Hadeeth which says that , your deeds are taken to Allah Azzawajal on Mondays and Thursdays, and if any one of you have broken the ties of Blood relatives, Your good deeds wont be accepted by Allah (SWT)...

(I cant remember the exact words..but this is what the hadeeth basically means I guess... )

Can any one help me by providing me with the reference and the correct Hadeeth...
Please?
Hope I would get this soon Insha Allah... :)

:wasalam: sister,

Muslim (2565) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “People’s deeds are shown [to Allaah] twice each week, on Monday and Thursday, and every believing slave is forgiven except a person between whom and his brother there is a dispute, and it is said, ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”

Abu Hurairah reported that the most the Prophet, salla Allahu alaihi wa salam, would fast would be Monday and Thursday. He was asked about that and he said: "The deeds of people are presented to Allah on every Monday and Thursday. Allah forgives every Muslim except for those who are deserting each other. He says: "leave them for later." [Ahmad; Hasan]

Importance of good Manners in Islam

31:18 (Asad) “And turn not thy cheek away from people in [false] pride, and walk not haughtily on earth: for, behold, God does not love anyone who, out of self- conceit, acts in a boastful manner. - *!*!

Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,

"I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who
gives up arguing, even if he is in the right;

and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah
for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun;

and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah
for one who has good manners.''
