Well, these are pretty common, especially where the marriage is 100% arranged.
Just recently, I heard about a friend of a friend who got married, good family, both were nice practicing Muslims. The guy I guess was not very attracted to her (even tho she is a doll). Two years go by, and he gives her a list of everything he doesn't like about her, and asks this poor little virgin to leave.
When she goes to see a lawyer about a divorce, the lawyer tells her that her situation is not uncommon, and the legal community sees it often especially amongst first generation Pakistani young couples.
I won't regale you with other stories but suffice it to say that this is a problem amongst Muslim couples.
