Should we support Taliban or not?

:salam2: to all my brothers and sisters,

1. the taliban are fighting against enemies of Allah and His messenger (saws) to estabilish Islamic State.

2. we pray to Allah in fridays khutbah, ramadan taraweehs for support to Islam and muslims. and when He sends helpers, we sit back and get against them.

3.news about women beating, suicide bombings? we better be careful of media because everything is not accurate!

can we tell to Allah on Day of Judgment that we did not support muslims who were fighting for Your sake because they told men to wear beards, women to cover face and banned internet?

who are more nearer to these verses
O ye who believe! Whoso of you becometh a renegade from his religion, (know that in his stead) Allah will bring a people whom He loveth and who love Him, humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers, striving in the way of Allah, and fearing not the blame of any blamer. Such is the grace of Allah which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.

Actually brother this matter is very complicated.it is very difficult to understand.but when i listen molana sofi muhammad interview,then i feel somewhat conflicts.because he was rejecting everything.for example he said women can not go out of house only for haj.and he use word kufar for many famous jamats.i agree him one point he said khilafat is right for politics and reject demoracy.so i think this question should be consulted in the company of ummah.

I really don't believe that Taliban or Laden doing everything for Islam.This is just a good scenario.I believe the us have all infos about them even where are they.Laden were in good tradition with usa years ago,(his many family members could go usa easly yet)i have watched a documentary about him,its all dilemma.
Imagine a country have knowledge from 100 star years away.They have all high technology but can't find 2 weak men in the small planet,that make me laugh really.How come they found Saddam in some months.
I ask you why usa should get them?These idiot men show to the world like Islam is terror,they want to divide Pakistan,they make the life like hell for Muslims in Afghanistan and Pakistan.There are many things to say really

How did this battle start?
It started when karzai and the rawafid president talked with obama in the white house. Before it was peace but after the talks war started. America have to expect another attack.

Obama calls for change, yet he wants muslims to change.

well im not so much fan of these talibans ,
so im pretty much with Pakistan army and since their arrival every one's life is hell , well its easy to sit and talk from outside pakistan
you will only know if you have seen 2 suicide attacks on innocent factory workers ,and innocent people then youll know , how is that supported by islam , suicide then kiilling on innocent muslim( i see that sis ayman has posted a verse on it as well Kazak Allah khair was looking for it couldnt find it looked up it was in your post), i dont see any reason other than creating panic and unrest in pakistan , and im tired of these cartoons,
no one is at ease while going out not here in islamabad, you cant go anywhere ,
listening to sufi Muhammad ,and the new from the people of swat mardan ,
and what they are doing is just miserable ,i cant believe those things are there in islam or even a muslim can think of doing ,
but again ,there are only handful off good men in them other than that , most are the people ,are dacoits ,theifs, kidnnapers ,drug smugllers ,drug lords ,all those people working under their cover,,, dera adam khel ,surrondings of peshawar ,and all that so im not for talibans , im pretty much living and islamic life , i have no problem i have absolute freedom of my religion , if there are to be then people are to decide ,not a hooligan or lunatic just talking stupidity ,

• When they were in power, they took power by force, not by free elections or consent of the citizens and therefore they were an illegitimate dictatorship. That is not a method sanctioned by Islam for assuming leadership of Muslims. Leadership in Islam is earned, not imposed.

When it comes to whether one should rule by Allaah's law or not then there is no say in this for the masses, ofcourse Allaah's law is used over man made law, are you saying people should have the right to 'vote' on whether they live by Shari'ah or not? ..if you meant something different then that, please explain.

(Im not saying within the context of the Taliban here, generally speaking)

Salaam,

The root word of "Taliban" means student of knowledge. There is always good and bad fruits to any group, nation, religion, race, etc. Sure some of the Taliban (or Muslims) may have done things that is against the teachings of Islam but that doesn't mean ALL of them were bad Muslims. Take for example the story of Y'vonne Ridley, a British reporter captured by the Taliban and released in such a polite manner that she reverted to Islam!

For the most part, the Taliban are those fighting in the cause of Allah swt and defending their land, yet Western media discredits them and gives them not only a bad image, but when they start killing innocent people they label them "Taliban" - an excuse to to get away with mass murders...and when some Muslims & non-Muslims hear of them they think they are "terrorists"! Astagfirallah. They are the lions of tawhid. The skies are their blankets and the rocks are their pillows, yet they fight for cause of Allah swt. IMHO, it is the agenda of Western media to make us hate our own Muslims brothers & sisters. The strategy of divide & conquer is an old but effective tactic.
