Assalam-o-alaikum brothers and sisters
I hope you had a wonderful summer vocation. Sadly it was too quick and now back to the life of college or school.
Well things changed for me this summer.
Before the beginning of Ramadan, all of my family except for me and my elder brother went to Pakistan. Please make duaa that they spent their time safely ameen. Although they were very glad to visit but at the same time i was unhappy because i had to live my own and talk to the walls all the time. This was the first Ramadan that i spend without my family.
But alhamdolillah as the time passed I began to learn more and more as i was alone. The first and foremost thing..... " I began to appreciate the hard work my mom was doing. Not even that i began to appreciate the work done by the female relatives as you know we guys often forget that and discredit our female relative.
"
Just to give you an example.
I needed sewing machine to do something. I had never ever touched sewing machine before. So here we go. The first thing which i did successfully was to put the thread into the needle which itself was a pain. Next i had to put the thread at the bottom. But i didn't knew how to do it. I opened the bottom part, but then didn't knew how to close it. So i am looking here and there on what to do. Then i thought that i am an engineer...i can't give up..i will do this regardless of how much time it will take.
When the bottom part did close the thread was not coming out...Oooo God another problem..now what to do... So i realized that there was not enough thread on that thing that we put at the bottom. The biggest problem at this moment was to make the thread come up from the bottom part. I am struck with something that i never touched before.
I spent around 3 hours..(woowwwww) only on that....Just to make it short....I will not mention what happened at the end. You guys start guessing. Was i able to do it succesfully or did i fail??
SURPRIZE ..SURPRIZE..SURPRIZE...
So well yesterday i received a call from my mom that my younger sister is about to get married on September 18.
:ma:
. I was soo pleased to know that. Mashallah this happiness was a big surprise because i wasn't expecting that.
Please make duaa :tti_sister: that my the wedding Ceremony of My younger sister goes fine and also please make duaa that my family stays safe and sound in Pakistan.
Well this happiness is again accompanied by sorrow :shymuslima1:. Unfortunately i will not be able to attend her marriage ceremony. Sisters please inform me on how a blood sister feels if her beloved blood brother is unable to make it up for her marriage ceremony. I guess this is the last bad thing that a sister wont in her life..
