I am just about fed up with the local mosque my family attends. The mosque has been open for about five or six years now. I was there from its humble beginning and I remember the community doing alot of community work, we had speakers coming, lectures, classes, sister took care other sisters. It was great place to go. now five years later and I don't know know what happen. Well I do, we lost our Imam he moved overseas only to return two years later to be an Imam some place else. The community has basically died. I mean, I go mainly because I have some hope but I am getting fed up.
Second We have no Imam and have not had one in the past three years. Now there is a fatwa about Mosque that runs without an Imam is running under sin. Helllo, now to me, If I heard that and was in charge, I would be doing everything look for Imam, even a temporary one. We have sisters who want to get marry but can't because of no wali/Imam.
What also is making me red (angry) is that they have invested out money in this horrible, or at least in my opinion teacher, who is damn near wants to retired , I mean his classes are so dull, I feel are pointless. I mean I could go on for years about how suckey this Mosque is. Trust me I would I love to complain face to face but my sister representative,.....she likes never come. At least when we did have an Imam he had two wives, and one was always around and their emails and phones were open 24/7.
so what can I do. Is it okay Islamically to vent frustrations and suggestions by writing a letter.
