Some Aspects Of Hijab

mahussain3

Son of Aa'ishah(R.A)
This is about some aspects of Hijab which are not commonly unknown/ignored in families. For those who do not have time, here is a short summary followed by references.

->> Hijab is for both men and women. 24:31
->> Cousins are not in 'mehrum' list. Hijab is to be maintained in their presence. 24:32, 33:59

->> Rasool Allah (S) called brother in law as death. Hijab is to be maintained in their presence. (specially for people in India/Pak). SB 7:159

->> A man can marry his brother's ex-wife or widow (bhabi) or a man can marry sister of his ex-wife/ expired wife. 4:23

->> A similar condition of marriage applies to wives of paternal and maternal uncles, except for those women who are of old age, or in case of women, husbands of paternal and maternal aunts. 4.23

->> Children are supposed to take permission before they come to your room at three times: before Fajr, after Isha, and in afternoon when you sleep. 24:58

Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for
them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. 24:31

And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display
their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their
bosoms and not display their beauty except
to their husbands
their fathers
their husbands' fathers
their sons
their husbands' sons
their brothers or
their brothers' sons or
their sisters' sons or
their women or
the slaves whom their right hands possess or
male servants free of physical needs or
small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and
that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments.
And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah that ye may attain Bliss. 24:32

Prohibited to you (for marriage) are: your
mother,
daughters,
sisters,
father's sisters,
mother's sisters;
brother's daughters,
sister's daughters,
foster-mothers (who gave you suck) foster-sisters;
your wives' mothers;
your step-daughters under your guardianship born of your wives to whom ye have gone in no prohibition if ye have not gone in;
(those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins;
and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time except for what is past;
for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. An Nisaa 4:23

O ye who believe! let those whom your right hands possess and the (children) among you who have not come of age ask your permission (before they come to your presence) on three occasions before morning prayer; the while ye doff your clothes for the noonday heat;and after the late-night prayer: these are your three times of undress: outside those times it is not wrong for you or for them to move about attending to each other: thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. An Nur 24: 58

Narrated Uqba bin Amir - Allah's Apostle said, "Beware of entering upon the ladies." A man from the Ansar said, "Allah's Apostle! What about Al-Hamu the in-laws of the wife (the brothers of her husband or his nephews etc.)?" The Prophet replied: -The in-laws of the wife are death itself." Sahih Bukhari Vol 7:159.
