Usually the resume's look similar is what I was told in college. And that, there are very few resume's which stand out, and even if they do it still takes a good litmus test to spot the right skills for a role. Stating one's ability in a matter of fact tone is not boasting. A boast gets busted at its weakest moment. So its good to assess yourself well and figure out how you can be of help in the Employer's halaal pursuit. For all the restlessness/anxiety an interview process creates, the employer too is in same boat, looking out for a suitable candidate, a helping hand who can shoulder their responsibilities and thereby fulfill personal aspirations. So, let resume reflect self positively.
Some might say that the world is competitive and superlative is the word, but frankly the world out there is co-operative even in the worst of times. Its the interview, that gives a 'good' interviewer a glimpse of your view and outlook. Its also the interview that gives you a good glimpse of the employer. Make it worthwhile, learning experience. It often takes months and years for a company to realize if the recruit was worthwhile or not.
Let your resume speak for you and let it not boast about you. Let it cover your Objective, goal, aspiration , education, experience and other information relevant to your job. Information about you, thats relevant to job in hand, should make into your resume with least words.
A outlook that's honest, humble and Holistic works. And never throw away the values... and never forget to thank Almighty Allah.
Step into your interview room being aware that your representative, Your Resume is already in the room waiting for you, after successfully representing you to the employer ...
