asalamu alaykum brothers and sisters,
i go to high school so i ride bus to school and i have this bad and rude bus driver. i`m the last person that gets off the bus and the bus driver turn music on and he didn`t turn it on before everyone else was on the. the kids that needed to listen to music. and i ask him to turn it off i told that i don`t listen to music and he did turn it off. today at the same time as the other day he turn on a radio station that talks about christinaty and turn the volume high up. i didn`t say anything i pretended that i didn`t cared.i`m so happy that i`m strong to my religion and i got 12 days left of school. may Allah protect me and other brothers and sisters that are having problems of believing what they believe.

he has no right to do that "to force you to listen to a Christian station"... are you the only person in the bus to leave in the last stop?...

in general, teachers (i would guess bus drivers as well) are not allowed to talk about religion (unless the lesson is about religion) to students...

if you don't think that it would be a danger to you, i would suggest to give him something about islam (little book or pamphlet)

if you end up having him next year as a bus driver, let the school know of what his doing (probably record it if you can)... he'll get in a big trouble... Be careful sister... Salam

Salaam,

Inform him that if he does not turn of the radio you will report him to the principal. Since he is a bs driver in the US what he is doing is against the law. There is strict seperation between church and state, this includes all things involved with school and religion. (ie., buses as well) I find his behavior disgusting and ignorant.
