I personally feel that new converts need to keep their info coming from the best sources (i.e. recongised ulama'a) and avoid controversial points. Not that tawheed is controversial, but I'd rather keep it simple.

May Allah (glorified He may be) guide us all to the rightous path. Amin.

yes u r right but many muslims do not understand the right meaning of it,like seeking help from a dead person,saints etc.....still it is the biggest issue in my part of the world.

Agreed.

There is a slight difference, one should show while talking about the dead person. What if the dead person was a very very pious muslim, and the disciples somewhere got it wrong and confused the teachings??

Am saying so in above para, because I happened to meet a person, who accused the dead, and on probing the further the person who is being accused of never preached to do shirk... Your comment does not accuse anybody, I register that. Just a word of caution, I made note to myself. thought would be good to post here...

Hence, we should remember and reflect upon situation immediately after our Prophet passed away .... The situation would have been grave... If not for Aboobacker Siddeek (ra)
