Over a piece of land
Of forgotten worship they fight
Adam’s sons at daggers drawn
In the dead of religious night
Arouse sentiments, raise arms
And raise armies holy ?
And raise funds, and money burn
Doesn’t penury curse this folly ?
The bloody games, the bloody gains
Threats run, the frenzied fun
They keep busy and never see
Beyond the slowly decaying sun
Listen threat O foolish men!
Nature is posing serious anon
Global warming, ozone holes,
Draughts, floods, God’s cannon
Use your energies to improve your lot
Fight away diseases, evil, poverty
Hatred, corruption and nature’s scourge
Live and let live, kill every calamity
Kill not any God’s men, over His issue
Let fight out the gods their own case
Don’t build temple, don’t guard the mosque
The stronger God shall maintain His place
